What Will Go Through Your Mind When You See Jesus?

Saying there are no absolutes is in turn an absolute. I love when relativist contradict themselves.

Well, it's scientifically proven that your five sense are signals that your brain creates and not the authentic. For instance: I may see an apple placed on a table, but in reality my brain is simply telling me an interpertation of what may or may not be there. Same goes for : Touch, Smell, Taste, and Hearing.

There's no way to empirically prove what were seeing to be without a doubt true. So, how do we even tell others that what they see are delusions?

I'm not saying all delusions are true, but it proves a point.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say in response to my post.

It wasn't really a response to a particular post, just something I wanted to state.

He's been doing that to me too.

If I was to say that unicorns exist, and go on to use a book about unicorns to provide details, write a five page essay dealing with these details, and then it turns out the book I got them from isn't conclusive evidence, then the five page essay cannot be considered factual... Same with this heaven thing.

Very poor illustration. The Bible must be taken by faith. You mean you didn't know that believing is seeing (according to the Bible), not the other way around?

There are some things that must be believed first--then you can perceive them with your senses.

Like what?

Well, anything you can experience on hallucinogenic drugs.

Which reminds me....I haven't had window paint in like 12 years.

You believe that you are going to die right? Right, but you are not dead yet right? Right; therefore, it must be believed first before you experience it. Same thing thing with getting paid every month or two weeks. You have worked your 40 or more hours without getting a paycheck right? You know the check is on its way for that week right? Right, but it is still a matter of faith until the check get's into your hand right? Right.

Umm, what about people who think they're gods?

No concern they're not.

But they think they will not die...then they get shot.

I challeng you to prove that everyone thinks something before it can actually happen to them.

You honestly think he's going to take, much less accomplish, that challenge??

I challeng you to prove that everyone thinks something before it can actually happen to them.

Everyone thinks that they will do, obtain, become, or accomplish the following:

die,
go to Heaven at death,
get a paycheck for the hours they work,
live tomorrow,
own a home,
graduate from college,
marry and have children,
miss Hell when they die,
reach their goals,
get hired one day,
get to do what they went to school for, and the list goes on.

But that is not everything.
