One God does not mean one Person, it means one God. God is manifested in three Persons. For example, water is defined as a chemical substance that has three states: liquid, solid, and gas. Well, God is a Spirit Who has three states (or manifestations): Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Each Person is God yet individual just like liquid, ice, and water vapor are all still water, yet they have various manifestations of that water. God also has three manifestations: Father, Son Jesus, and Holy Spirit.

JIA... I've thought about your "What would..." question; when I die and if I do indeed "see" Jesus. I will then have no choice but to accept that the Bible was factually written; I will both apologize to and recognize Jesus as the 'one savior'. Makes some sense...questions:

1) If there is a father and son, where is the mother ?

2) What is the Holy Spirit, like a baby sitter between Father and Son ?

3) Why are there three male aspects and no female aspect ? Is God Gay ?

4) Why does God need/have manifestations ?

5) Which is the punisher or wrathful aspect ? Father, Son, or Holy Spirit ?

6) I thought Evangelicals rejected the beleif in the Holy Trinity ?

Jesus is not the Father, Jesus is the Son. God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (each Person is distinct yet God equally). Think of the angles of an equilateral triangle, each angle is it's own distinct angle yet it is equally 60 degrees just like the other distinct angles. One triangle, three distinct angles, which are all equal. One God, three distinct Persons, Whom are all equal.
