The pen is mightier than the sword. Reed's strength is his brains, so I would think that he's not the weak link in the four. If anything it would be Thing, because he's pretty much one dimensional, compared to the rest of the members.....

He is one dimensional, but we're talking about power, not intellect.
Reed has no real power.
No energy projection. He's not a brick. So on and so forth.
