I saw the unrated version. I did see that there was an unrated version but i think you had to buy that one, i think. And if so I’d never go as far as buying made for tv remakes especially if it’s horror. But a theatrical version? I dunno. I’d have to see who’d helm it, who’s playing in it, read previews, watch the trailer..
And Huey, weren’t they (all) supposed to be unlikable? In the original “corn” while seeing it as a kid, I thought the 2 leads were kinda scary in a religiously fanatical sort of way, and not the type of kids I would’a liked being around. And that’s what made the movie. I’d never root for those 2. In fact I really didn’t like them at all in a major way, lol. (the original 2 meaning)
The two new leads here were just annoying, at times boring, and emotionless. They didn’t invoke the same fear and passion the original 2 did.
And that couple, that chick, man was she a trip!! I mean you actually wanted her face the childrens’ wrath so she’d stop with the nagging. God that had to’ve been the most annoying nagger I’ve seen on film ever. And she wasn’t even a good actress to top it off.
This film gets a solid F.
A 1/10. That husband dude was the only one that really got into his role convincingly.
I’ve seen dozens of horrors this year but this one’s the king of the crap hill
