I actually found 1408 to be quite terrible. The first half was interesting, but the second half I absolutely hated.

Yeah I was the same man, I was looking forward to seeing it but it turned out to be lame. Fair enuff I was a little jumpy at some parts, but it was a bit of a mind-f*ck kinda movie.

another one you guys have been talkin about, Darkness Falls. Just terrible! I was gutted I wasted an hour and a half of my life watching it.

Watched the Funhouse, thought was damn awful obviously...

I recommend The Killing Room from the same director, don't let him making Darkness Falls put you off it, I was surprised it was from the same director actually. It's not Horror, but it's a very good Psychological Thriller that went straight to DVD. Underrated.

Someone just reminded me of another that is absolutely rubbish, called Cradle of Fear, starring the lead singer from that Metal band Cradle of Filth. One of the worst films I've seen. This then reminded me of another terrible film, Razor Blade Smile. Urgh.

Anybody ever seen "Raising Jeffrey Dahmer"?

That is the most BORING movie I have EVER seen. All they did was play cards, watch TV, show stupid, cheesy flashbacks, and answer the phone.

New one.

The old ones are great.

Mum and Dad
Eden Lake
I swear those are the worst two movies I've ever seen.

Shame, Eden Lake was excellent. Oo but you like Stay Alive... and you call Eden Lake bad. 😛

Fear dot com
ugh xD
It was about the cheesiest thing in my honest opinion ;P

Jennifer's Body was one of the worst I've seen lately.

Children of the Corn (2009) on comcasts' fear.net.

what a master piece of sh*t.

The original dookies all over it.

Really? I've seen quite a few reviews saying it's much better, if you watch the unrated version that is, was it the unrated version on fear.net?

There is also ANOTHER remake of Children of the Corn getting made, but this time actually released as a film version.

The problem with the children of the corn remake was that the two leads were so unlikable it took you out of the movie. It looses its dread when you find yourself rooting for the kids. The couple take up the first hour argueing over who ruined their marriage.

I saw the unrated version. I did see that there was an unrated version but i think you had to buy that one, i think. And if so I’d never go as far as buying made for tv remakes especially if it’s horror. But a theatrical version? I dunno. I’d have to see who’d helm it, who’s playing in it, read previews, watch the trailer..

And Huey, weren’t they (all) supposed to be unlikable? In the original “corn” while seeing it as a kid, I thought the 2 leads were kinda scary in a religiously fanatical sort of way, and not the type of kids I would’a liked being around. And that’s what made the movie. I’d never root for those 2. In fact I really didn’t like them at all in a major way, lol. (the original 2 meaning)

The two new leads here were just annoying, at times boring, and emotionless. They didn’t invoke the same fear and passion the original 2 did.

And that couple, that chick, man was she a trip!! I mean you actually wanted her face the childrens’ wrath so she’d stop with the nagging. God that had to’ve been the most annoying nagger I’ve seen on film ever. And she wasn’t even a good actress to top it off.

This film gets a solid F.

A 1/10. That husband dude was the only one that really got into his role convincingly.

I’ve seen dozens of horrors this year but this one’s the king of the crap hill

buying made for tv remakes

I believe it was actually made as a film for a cinema release, but something happened and they released it as a television event instead.

by bad for the typo I meant i saw the rated versiion. not the uncut one..
