This is just Ororo on edge. A woman insulted her. You very rarely see Storm with intense rage. She said she felt like "ripping her heart out", rightgully so. She also snaps her fingers and lightning strikes. NO PROLONGED CONJUERING and waiting. It happens INSTANTANEOUSLY AS SHE SNAPS HER FINGER.

I LOVE this type of Ororo.--BADASS!

Ororo is a master strategist.

The entire altercation between Magneto and Storm, though OFTEN misrepresented as him "showing her up". I present the FULL context.

Storm's Elemental powers protect her from the cold.

Showing great control by causing it to rain on everyhing BUT her.

Disrupting an elecromagneticfield with lightning.

Shows great control over her winds here.

Stealth and skill.

Cannot impose her will on naturally occuring albeit destructive events.

Flying herself and others at speeds only jets can match by diverting the continental Jetstream.

A small jet can fly at over 500 mph. She was just playing here. When she's pissed, as in Uncanny X-men annual 12, she can reach up into the 10's of thousands.😐

Rougue absorbs her power and she sees that it would take a CRAZY amount of strength to stop a hurricane in it's tracks.

This lets me know that as soon as she absorbed Ororo's power, she immediately felt the storm in her every pore, just as storm would.

This also lets you know just how much power a Hurricane has
