and thus..the field of biochemistry was born. So yeah, you fail. Chemical reactions are the largest component of life and chemical reactions are most certainly dependnant on atomic structre. Obviously electron structure (quantum mech comes to mind here) is much more important then quarks, but saying atomic structure is irrelevant is wrong.
I think you are misinterpreting my point
for instance, what part of biochemestry (or bio anything) needs quantum mechanics and is not explained by classical newtonian physics?
(ya, I know about electrons and ion channels in cells and neurons especially, however, if those ions were undergoing quantum phenomena with any observable reaction on the living organism, they would not work properly. The ions that the body uses are, afaik, fairly stable and not prone to just changing their charge or having strange electron effects.)

my point is, we don't know how significant the quantum fluctuations in atomic structure are to atomic stabilization. Discarding it seems hasty and likely false.
What biological function, which is currently not understood, would be better described through quantum mechanics?
I see what you are saying, and in the strictest of scientific philosophy I HAVE to agree with you. I do however believe that investigation will show quantum mechanics to be at best negligable in the study of life.
lol, I have a personal little tiff with quantum mechanics at the moment.
Yes..the Greeks did it since...oh dam I forget the debate, but a Spartan king was one of the first men elected a god...of course Alexandrer the Great/most of the Ceasars did as well, the way Augustus treated his divinity East-West is a fascinating topic of cultural division in the RE. Besides, most of them had star sightings at their birth etc...very "original" stuff.
Oh yeah, but even in the confused trinitarian perspectives, the Son is not the Father...ie JIA is wrong.

So was Adam before or after the dinosaurs?
They lived together. 🙄
If you took every species that have gone extinct in the past and placed them living on the Earth all at one time, there would not be enough food to feed them all. 90% of all animals that have walked on the face of the Earth or swam in the seas have gone extinct.

Also out of all the animals that fly why would he name a fly a fly 😠
