I do have the same passion, that person is an awful person, but there are many white rapists as well. - In context, I'm saying that people simply take what they are surrounded with as their truth: culture, Academia, and so on without ever taking a step back and looking at it. When they act, they do not even know the foundation that their actions stem from.

Example: Afrocentricity is cool and all, but is often taken into the same general context that makes racism so prominent. You can't claim you were kings and queens when you know NOTHING of the origin of "your" people.

No one can gain knowledge without at first having at least some basic understanding of why they do what they do. I hate to see people have sex and then be like "Damn, I feel bad. I should repent." Rinse. Cycle. Repeat.

They don't know why they do what they do. All that people who have some sort of awareness can do is put the tools out there. After that, it's all them.
