Ever been in a fist fight? Did you win? Tell us about it!

I've had my share of fist fights, I've kicked ass and had my ass kicked. One fist fight stands out, though. When I was 16, I was in class and I overheard "I bet you won't slap the big dude.". And before I could figure out who was the "Big dude", I found myself being slapped.

So, we fought in class, I had long hair at the time so the little ***** grabbed my hair, I ducked under, and honestly not meaning to, came up under his chin with my head hitting him hard as hell. He was knocked the **** out with a broken jaw.

The good part was I kicked his ass, the bad part was I accidentally hit a pregnant girl.

What's your story?

tournaments dont count but yea i have. once in pre-school (******* broke my toy), and twice against some guy that challenged me to a fight.

this happened during senior year

he basically said jiujitsu, judo and TKD are ineffective in real fights.

so he challenged me, because i have studied jiujitsu/judo for about a year as a kid, and TKD for over 3 years. I currently train in muay thai/dutch kickboxing.

he has no experience in martial arts, but he is a swimmer and has been weight lifting for a while.

no elbows were allowed and no haymakers. nothing that would really knock the other person out.

so the fight started, i threw 2 leg kicks, the third one i faked and went for a clinch. did a simple judo sweep. i tried to go for a kimura but it didn't work. he tried to get out of it, i took advantage and he tapped out from a rear naked choke.

he wanted a rematch, and this time, he surprised me cuz he did a judo sweep on me and i landed on the ground real bad. i should have been more focused. we got up, i did a takedown and he purposley elbowed my neck. it hurt like a *****, i even said WTF during the match, but we continued. the fight went on for a long time. he landed a jab. i landed a jab. he eventually gassed and gave up.

I have been in a few. Also have jumped in to help friends, got jumped by others..best was the Gangs of New York style brawls. Won some and lost some.

I don't believe I've ever been involved in a fist fight sort of thing. I avoid angry people like the plague. When people push my buttons I usually come back verbal, point my finger a lot, throw a clicker or sandwich, boot, book, clothes, Oh, once I broke someones glasses. But hey, they deserved it, they hit me....Someone has to really provoke me to get angry..

Okay, that was boring, huh.

I have been in a few for the dumbest reasons. I mean, I really am one of those people that hate fighting and against such violent acts, yet people have to sorely test my patients by laying there dirty hands on me, igniting my rage. I know self defence such as Tae Kwon Do and Kickboxing as well, just in case these things ever happen.

And just for the record, I never start problems with anyone....🙄

I tend to avoid aggression, it's all well and good sparring in a dojo but proper fights I avoid. I did get into a couple of scuffles as school though. One of them I won without raising a finger.

The kid had been on at me for ages always challenging me and I always backed down, then one time he decided to wallop me anyway. I was just stood there and he punched me hard in the stomach, it hurt like hell but I did nothing, didnt flinch, didnt blink, just looked at him. He left me alone after that. Turns out a while later when we'd become friends that it had scared him, he admitted that he'd hit me as hard as he could and as it didnt seem to bother me even slightly he got a bit freaked...

The second was just plain funny, again another kid goading me to fight reached out to grab my top in order to pin me against a wall while he punch me. As he reached out I grabbed his fingers and twisted them as hard as I could. I dislocating two of them, he didnt seem to want to hit me after that...

Other than that I've won and lost lots of bouts during my years of jujitsu 🙂

The last fight i was in was a couple of months ago, so kid two years older than me, was making fun of my tight pants, so i fought him after school, left him with temporary blindness in the left eye, a really bad concussion, and his ass was passed out for a while

6th grade. A friend of mine was getting beat up by the school bully. I got so mad, I just snapped. I threw my only punch (still to this day) and struck him on the nose and broke it. I was suspended for 3 days. 😬

this one kid i grew up with pushed my sister who is handicapped down hard onto the street and i basicly broke his jaw and skull open.

Haven' been in one since highschool, it was ridiculous. Two guys were fighting in the hallway and partway through the fight they pushed away from each other, and got in fighting stances on opposite sides of the hallway, so I decided I'd walk through the space between them to get to class and one of the guys thought I was joining in (I guess) so he tried to grapple me from behind, and I ended up lifting him off his feet and walking backwards as fast as I could into the lockers behind me. Then I went to class and no penalties were charged.
