Well ok but what I can say is this. I still would have liked it if you answered my questions because:

1. It would have illustrated clearly why I was reacting the way I was.
2. Because you did not answer the questions it does seem that what I was saying went over your head IF when you refered to comic loyalty you were refering to my comments on DKR and Year One.
3. The reason why im asking you was because he refuses to answer them.

I'm sick of the hate towards the flim cause it was the Batman from my childhood and you have to remember this movie was done in the late 80's.

it was a part of my childhood too, i grew up watching this and stuff but ive come to grips with reality.

I think people responding negatively to Batman'89 is a direct result of people b*tching about the new movie and how Heath Ledger's Joker isn't a carbon copy of Nicholson's. The Nolan brothers are trying to approach this with a little realism. And they're doing an excellent job.

But if you just want to see a rehash of the '89 movie, then why even worry about what's going on with this movie?

It's hilarious how Batman 1989 fans have to sit around listening to one scathing criticism after the next about their movie althought many of them seem to like Begins just fine, but if some fans make a comment about not liking the shitty way they have the Joker looking they suddenly must wish he looked more like Jack Nicholson's Joker and don't care about The Dark Knight.

That's stupid. I care about the Dark Knight and I think the New Joker's look sucks ass. And yes I do prefer 1989's movie however I do not want to see Jack's Joker rehashed, I just don't want to see a fugly ass dirty Joker who looks like he lives in the sewer and smells funny.

I don't understand, how does he look dirty? Have you seen the knife pic? Or the pic of him kicking the fake Batman? How does he look dirty in those pics? How does he look like a "meth clown" in those pics? Is it something I can't see because it's not there? And why are we talking about Heath Joker in a B89 thread (that got bumped for no reason)?

Spend a little more time reading the really old Batman comics. That IS what the Joker looks like.

I think it's pretty much summed up in one half of the two men who created the Joker being involved in the character design for this movie. I don't see anything that makes me think he smells bad or is dirty, at all.

For once I think she makes a good point.I dont think that is going to be the FINAL look of the joker.I have seen a pic of him with green hair so obviously its not,it was posted on one of the other threads,thats why I mentioned earlier on another thread,that people should wait till there is more evidence before making a decison about the joker at this point.but if that indeed turned out to be the FINAL look of the joker-which again i dont think it is,well they got a right to be upset with it.

His hair looks dirty as hell and he just looks grimey to me.

I still don't see where he looks like he's on meth and smells. He looks psychotic and dangerous, just the way he supposed to look.

And the picture of him kicking Batman looks pretty final to me.

Man if thats the FINAL look of The Joker then I am not at all psyched for this movie anymore.If he really looks like that throughout the whole film and we dont get to see that wild and wacky green hair then that will rub me the wrong way Batman 89 did where the joker was the killer of batmans parents.btw why the hell cant this be discussed on the joker thread why the freaking hell do people have to keep bumping this damn thread? 😠
