This show tries to hard to be hip. Nothing grinds my gears more, than teenage superhero's. Am i the only person that has a problem with teenagers being superhero's? I always hated that, even as a teenager. The animation looks very good even if the character designs are proportioned like world of warcraft avatars.

Spidey started as a teen superhero. I like him better as a teen superhero rather than a college student superhero or a married superhero.
Also I see no attempts by the show to be excessively hip. All I see is Spiderman's high school struggles modernized to fit today's high school experience and terminology.
Just watched episode 5 and though it was great. Lizard episode is still the best soo far.
