Spectacular Spiderman: New Animated TV Show

It was attached to Jameson's ship when it landed at the end of the episode.

So it is a symbiote good, i hope he's not like the TAS in the sense that he appears in one episode, has the symbiote torn off his body then having it attached to a shuttle and we don't see him for what, a season or two...and then thats only for two episodes with his son.

Well, he is supposed to briefly appear before the last episode, and then the last episode is all Venom goodness. I dont know if they are carrying him over into the next season.

thats what happened with the TAS, he was seen a little in the Alien Costume prt.2 then fully in prt.3

However if according to the description "and will be a major threat to Spider-Man" i assume that means he will be long term...

Oh boo hoo... Did anyone whine when Montana was the Shocker?? When Tombstone was the Big Man??

Are either as iconic or important to the mythos? No.

Actually all big recurring villains are essential to the mythos of Spider-Man, he has to have villains.

Is having Norman be GG every single time very very predictable? Yes.

It's a nice change up.

Harry is much easier to relate to for a younger audience that this show is aimed for. In a sick way Norman created Spectacular GG.

Spoiler:
As Harry says "I did it for you dad! You told me to be a man!"

Shocker isn't that big of a recurring villain. He only shows up twice or thrice every decade.

Is having Doc Ock being Otto every single time being very very predictable? What about Brock as Venom? Curt Conners as the Lizard?

YES! Which is why Norman deserves the same respect!

Well there has only ever been one Doc Ock and one Lizard, as we have seen Venom does not work with some else...as for GG there has been so many so it's acceptable, to a certain degree.

Blah!

The new episode was awesome...
Black Cat cameo.
Interchanging story between J.J. and the main plotline.
I love the GG.. And y'know something I'm just fine with it being Harry.

And the exchanges...

"trap?"
"trap"
"thought so. see ya inside!"

😂

Harry was a much more effective Goblin in this show. Had it been Norman, his insanity wouldnt have been as effective since wed still dont know much about him in this show. But Harry's insanity was brilliant.

You ask me, I don't think the Goblin issues been resolved by a long shot.. Sure Norman might know what he did about the serum because he's seen it.. The question.. Did he know about it because he's used it?

Who knows... But he's definitely a villain character and I don't think he won't be a Goblin threat before this show's over.

I personally like the twists that the new show is adding on top of old school homages. Makes plotlines less predictable... I'm also a fan of the fact that they kept the TAS storyline for Venom's arrival to earth. Simplier and better than the comics IMO.

Strangely, I'm fine with Harry being the Goblin. The Goblin was so epicly awesome in this show, it leaves me wondering how amazing Norman is going to be. When Norman looses his mind, he'll have his smarts to exploit too. He is going to be one dangerous villain in this show.

Just imagine! That was just Harry! When Norman shows up, things are really going to heat up for Peter.

Also, looks like Jamesons "Spiderman: Hero or Menace" personality is begining to show. I was looking forward to that all through this show!

I'm also really likeing MJ in this show. I was hoping for some more characterization for Brock though. Looks like Venoms comming soon, and we still don't have a reason for Brock to really hate Pete.

Hey everyone! I got something interesting for you all to read. Harry may not be the Goblin after all. Someone on another forum I go too has a little theory on it all.

Harry as the Green Goblin just does not add up.
* When the Goblin stole the tech-flight glider from OsCorp, it didn't have the bat-head designed to fire pumpkin bombs and extend a spear on it yet. Harry does not have the technical know-how to add on a feature like that. Norman does. Or the expertise to add that Inhibitor cannon to it. Harry's a moron.
* If Harry were the Green Goblin, he would have attacked the Fall Formal instead of going after Tombstone.
* How would Harry even have access to the Globulin Green in the first place?
* Why would Harry attempt to kill Octavius? Norman knew Otto was a liability, Hammerhead said so in "The Invisible Hand". Norman berated Otto for being a weak man. Then he dressed up as the Goblin so he would have an alibi to show Hammerhead.
* The Green Goblin and Norman Osborn both had the same safety key for Otto's experiment.
* The Big Man was only ever referred to as "Mr. Lincoln" by Norman once and that was in the underground lab while Rhino was being created. Harry could not have overheard that.
* Norman Osborn just so happens to have a secret chamber, which we never saw the inside of. Where's Harry keeping the glider and equipment... not under his bed. For that matter, stealing one or two vials of Globulin Green, I can buy... but we've seen Harry drink from too many.
* Norman's knowing smirk at the end of "Reaction" about unmasking the Goblin before it's too late.
* Peter tipped his hand, told the Goblin he figured out who he was. The Goblin knew Spidey would be coming to the Osborn residence.
* Harry in "Goblin mode" didn't admit to anything except taking the drug. To be the son Norman always wanted. A straight A student and a star athlete.
* Norman is thrown twenty feet up a wall by Harry and is uninjured.
* And it was Norman himself who rationalized it all at the end (a very rehearsed sounding explanation). Then offered to take he fall.

No, Harry was set up. By his own bastard father.

Spectacular episode.

What do you all think?

That i agree with, Norman manipulating his own son, he's just the sort of crazed sadistic bastard who would do such a thing, and let's be honest, he can get away with all hell if people think Harry is the GG!

And one certain degree is the original: Norman ****ing Osborn.
They made another Dr. Octopus, actually. And they made many Venoms.
So let's say that instead of using Brock, they used Gargan for the show. Sounds fine to people 'that accept change'. It would be the exact same thing as what they did to GG.
Or why not make Dr. Octopus a girl, like Doc Ock II?

I think that it's perfect, and would be amazing for the show.
