This show is awesome, it certainly hasn't made any mistakes thus far in my book and I'm really enjoying what's going on. I also like that they decided not to go with the whole 'symbiote makes him evil' storyline.
As for Eddie, there must've been a problem with him all along. Maybe he wasn't as close to Peter as he thought? Maybe he was always jealous? Still, either way it goes, Peter taking a few pictures isn't a bad thing and has nothing to do with being able to trust him. Everyone close to Peter knows how he's struggling and say that he'll make it but once he does something that earns his family some money, he's the bad guy. I hate that.

Peter didn't betray Eddie. In case you've forgotten, if it wasn't for Peter being Spider-Man, Doc Connors would still be the Lizard. I'm sure Peter is allowed to try and earn some type of money, he saves the city on a regular basis.
EDIT: Freek got to it first.

Here is the thing though. Once he is united with the symbiote, He knows that Peter is Spiderman. He will know that Spiderman took the symbiote. Soo...there is reason number 3.
Ps. Sweet picture Ash. I like Venoms design though I wonder how he'll look in motion.

well eddie isn't exactly what you'd call emotionally stable, and we've already seen the symbiote begin to impose its own will or at least bend peter's rational/stable mind, so it wouldn't be far-fetched for the symbiote to let eddie believe certain actions of peter's that aren't reality: like intentionally going to steal the symbiote or only saving doc connors for the photos and publicity, as opposed to taking the photos as an afterthought/side-thought.

Yeah i was going to comment on the way it's affecting his mind, especially at the end of the group therapy when he started to talk in second person almost all the time and for some reason addressed himself in the third person "and peter Parker gets paid for the photo's" as if he was a different entity.
As for the symbiote being evil, next episode we get to see it's evil side...and also very soon Dr. Connors is going to lose a helper at his lab.
