[Gaul, playing your guys for a second, or else they'd be stilling in car while we watched a movie.]
Once Cy and Coddy got out of Jordan's car they made their way inside. Cy turned around and checked his surroundings once more, before he entered. The neighborhood seemed fine, it seemed like there was no infection at all. It was quiet, and the houses lights were off. He turned back again, and went inside and sat by Coddy, who had already sat down to watch the movie.
The movie was past the start, but still in the beginning. Blade was chasing the "vampire" who turns out to be a human later, wearing fake vampire teeth, to catch Blade killing an innocent. Jordan looked at the clock by the TV. 9:17 pm. Jordan was truthfully tired, the day had been long, and he was afraid to be attacked in his sleep. Sam got up from the couch, and made his way to the sink to put the oreo plate down.
"Sweet Jordan! You have a pool!?" Sam excitedly asked after looking outside the sink window, "How did you afford it? I mean the pay sucks at the hotel...I even admit that."
"My wifes a doctor. We use to live here together, before we had kids and she divorced from me," Jordan sadly said.
"Oh man...Rough...Where is she now?" Sam questioned Jordan.
"California," Jordan replied.
"Are you serious?! The zombies will get her!" Sam said.
"So? She always said her new boyfriend was a better man than I was, stronger, more determinded, and had a future. I'm sure he can protect her," Jordan sighed, "I'll be in bed."
"But the movie...And your wife!" Sam started.
"Forget about it."
Jordan closed the door of his room as he entered it. Sam put down his plate and walked back to the couch and sat down. Jordan returned to the living room.
"I got two couches here, two of you can sleep here. I got sleeping bags in the closet over there," Jordan pointed to the door by the television, "But...I have 3 more rooms, pretty much guest rooms now, since I have no family. Each have a double queen size bed, so if you went to sleep there, you'll be in the same bed. Just decide."
"Shouldn't we sleep in same room? Isn't that safer," asked Sam.
"I dunno Sam, might be, but if the zombies find us in one room, we are trapped, in different rooms at least one of us will warn another by their screams," Jordan answered. He then returned to his room and shut the door again.
