Jordan nodded and grinned, finally someone who wanted to take some action.
"Yea, the guards have been deciding whose going to go," Jordan said turning his heads towards the guards who were discussing. They all looked at him.
"I vote Chris," Mike said.
"I vote Jordan," Ryan said.
"I vote the Russian and the new guy!!" Dylan shouted.
They all looked him.
"What the hell Dylan," Sam said, "Why don't you go?"
"I'd rather not get ripped to pieces...but thanks for asking.." Dylan studdered.
Sam walked to Jordan before he heard the other guards votes.
"I think we should let people volunteer instead of sending people in," Sam whispered to Jordan, "Dylan's spooked, he doesn't want to get voted in."
With a nod, Jordan said, "Who wants to go and check it out?"
Angelica looked at Chris. "Yes please." she said to him. "Im gunna let this bench go on the count of three, once I let it go... you go nuts." she instructed.
"One."
"Two"
"Three."
She jumped off the bench and hit the floor, the 2 zombies pushed through the door, the bench swinging off and she plugged her ears awaiting the for the bullets to go ripping through the air.
Chris fired three times, one bullet hitting the first zombie in the head, and the other two bullets hitting the other zombie's head and shoulder. They both laid dead.
"Room cleared!" Chris shouted, as he turned around to see Sam whispering to Jordan.
Jordan heard Billy's answer and volunteered as well, "I'll do it."
None of the other security guards volunteered. Jordan was furious, but kept silent.
"Okay, no one else?" Jordan asked.
No one wanted in ever since they joined. They'd rather stay and wait for them to come back alive with good news, or not even return.
"Fine. Lets go," Jordan said, walking down to the stairs heading down into the parking lot.
[K, sorry I didn't continue, I was waiting to see if anyone else wanted to join up.]
Jordan and his group arrived to the stairs and made their way down. It took only a few minutes to reach the quiet door, that lead to the parking garage.
Jordan slowly approached the door and placed his ear on the door, and listened. He didn't hear anything, so he turned his head to the group that stood behind him.
"I can't hear anything," Jordan whispered before making a 'Raise your guns' motion towards the door.
He got on the floor and looked underneath the door. No shadows. No feet. No nothing. Jordan got up and grabbed the doorknob. He pulled his pistol..ready for anything.
][he's only holding the doorknob, he didnt open it ][
Angelica bit her lip and raised the blunt object in her hand, hoping that this poor excuse for a weapon would hopefully save her life. She stood inbetween the men with the firearms, hoping to go they would save her too. She looked at Jordan and spoke "Are you sure about this?"
Jordan's faced turned towards Angelica. Truthfully he was scared, and didn't want to open the door, but they had to get out somehow.
"No guts, no glory," Jordan said, with a nervous grin.
He turned the knob and pushed the door open. The door slowly opened, and they all stared out the door with their weapons raised.
Jordan's head stuck out the door and looked both ways multiple times, as if he was crossing the rode. He pulled his head back in and turned it the group.
"Seems clear to me," Jordan said, nodding his head towards the door, "Lets get salvaging."
"Seems clear..." she muttered. "Um does anyone have a car down here>" she asked, remembering her keys were in the locker room and she wasnt about to turn around and get them by herelf. "Because I think we'd feel safer in some kind of vehicle... you know with the metal and stuff.. not to mention the speed."
