I've been wondering what's happened to JMS, and the delays. Too preoccupied with his movie work? (Clint Eastwood's 'Changeling' has just opened.) And that he's no longer exclusive to Marvel and is going to freelance around, thought that meant he was going...
But, it seems he's not going anywhere and has lots of plans for our Thor. 🙂
The pace has been slow but steady. His first concern is Asgard these days, and helping the community around him. Seeing him stay in the American Southwest is visually interesting. His foes should stay mystical & highly cosmic; no need for the likes of Absorbing Man or the Wrecker.
And it doesn't look like he'll return to the Avengers any time soon - it may take a long time for him to forgive Tony Stark for the clone. Let Ares & The Sentry continue to fill the void. And I'd like to see him get to know the new Captain America better.
But mostly, I just want them to catch up; issues are months behind.

So then now that Thor has been reintroduced into other people's books besides his own. What are peoples thoughts about it. Do you want him to stay a little more exculsive to his own title for a little longer, or have you liked seeing him back in the spotlight?
Stan Lee is returning to do a story for Thor

The story is calling it a 'culmination of the work of fan favourites JMS & Oliver Copiel.'
AKA they're leaving the title.
Well, the schedule for this book has slowed, to the point of resembling Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk. 😛 Despite JMS claiming he's got lots of plans for Thor, they're not getting to us any sooner, with all his scriptwriting jobs these days.
Let's get back to being monthly, please. With a good writer.
