The first two issues of Thor God of Thunder is good!!
Esad Ribic is one of Thor's defining artists right now. And when Mike Deodato's drew Thor's new look for Avengers (as opposed to that's 90's SciFi look he did) it was one of the best versions of him I've veer seen.
God of Thunder #5 preview
this looks interesting.

imagine if hulk goes all wbh and actually LIFTS the hammer despite the enchantment. THAT would make for an interesting letter column and some lively forum chatter. π

WELL, NOW...Hulk did lift mjolnir after all! But there's going to be more to this, I suspect. Decades of being denied this honour can't be reversed like that. This adventure has the air of being outside 616 continuity, with this being a Thor that hasn't visited midgard in a long time. Even with Banner's and Hulk's personality changes possibly aiding in this...

Lol oh yes....but guys it was not because of strength...it's because Hulk was worthy....which in a way is more insulting....π
Well yes, it's never been about strength. This will eventually either get explained as an out of continuity event, or that Banner & Hulk have had enough of an attitude shift that they qualify - being worthy is the hammer sensing the spirit of a warrior born, who will make the hard decisions & sacrifice to help others. I'm inclined to think this will eventually prove to be the former. Even Hulk in his most stable psychological days - as Professor Hulk - couldn't pull off a feat like this.
But as a tease tactic, this has got the fan bases buzzing. People will be buying that next issue of IH in huge numbers to see the answer.

Yes, glad that got cleared up in IH #7. π Thor fans are happy with how this technicality got explained. And it's nice how Thor & Hulk have become this funny buddy cop team the past several years.

Ah-ah...it was Hulk fans who excitedly had a short stroke going a month ago! Myself, I just patiently waited for a follow up explanation or elaboration.
Maybe it's time for Thor & Hulk to have their own 'World's finest' type title. They did one no so long ago, with Thor and Iron Man. π

True! I love them as enemies but I also like them as a "World Saving Team" like Bats and Supes

That an Elf wearing a cowboy hat? π€¨
We've never spent much time in Alfheim. It needs some exposure in the next movie.
