Jesus Christ, they've reduced Thor a ****ing joke, a ****ing joke. I stopped buying Thor comics after the Ragnarok saga, when he became Rune King Thor, cause hey that was supposed to be the end and I was fine with it.
Then they have him come back in the game, to be a ****ing jester. One issue he can take down Bor, a skyfather level Asgardian, the other issue he gets handled by Wolverine or punked by Red Hulk, then Asgard is raped like a 2nd rate hooker by Osborn's military assault and his Thunderbolts, then the Phoenix powered X-Men curbstomp Thor. I mean, WTF?
Marvel has become a joke, recycling stories all over again. The god butcher, king thor, lol basically take desak, change his name and mix past stories of Thor with new designs. ****, I AIN'T BUYIN THIS SHIT

Different writers and all that sort of thing, Wish some of them read up on what's happened.

Hi peeps just thought id ask your opinion on this regarding thors GB.Thors GB at best shattered his hammer when used against exitar with belt of strength,also once mjolnir also absorbed a bomb which could destroy 1/4 of the universe,he also had a shared feat with BRB whereby they used their GB to prevent the multiverse from collapsing i think...With that said in your opinion If thor used his most powerfull GB do you reckon it can destroy a universe, if not all of it a portion of it? Whats your say?

That's really cool, I've been enjoying Journey Into Mystery although I didn't get to read the last issue only see the scans.

So the Journey Book will about centered on Sif next, Might stop getting it and start getting Young Avengers which Kieron Gillen will be doing will feature Loki.

Cool character, always liked him for 26 years since i was 5 watching videos of his cartoon show and reading the comics.

But who thinks he's Marvel's answer to Captain Marvel aka Shazam? i mean can anyone compare them? they did battled in DC vs. Marvel

He does share some similarities with Captain Marvel. Both are transformed to and from their powered alter egos to rather weak and unassuming mortal forms. Both invoke magical lightning and both are seen as gods or empowered by them.

These discussions are ultimately fruitless. There's only so many archetypes, and borrowing ideas is/was rampant, so there's bound to be similarities between characters. But each has been around for so long that you're talking about cursory details in an origin story. Marvel and Thor have decades of stories and character development that separate them. Any power similarities are beyond trivial by comparison.
