Also, Surfer couldn't really do it, because of Runner's likeble effect.

just spell it out. I'm not in the mood for hints. And I didn't read that arc so just tell me what the hell happened. What's with all this dead stuff. Anway, the runner still seemed more powerful. even the board list him above the top tier. I would think he was. Thanos had to use trickery to get the gems. or else he would have just overpowered all the elders. they were too poweful, so he used prep. So it's my reasoning that the runner was more powerful than thanos and more powerful than Surfer. And yes, Surfer was fighting that likeable power.

The runner just seemed to already be fast as if the gem made a difference to the slow Thanos. I thought Champion was already stronger than Thanos.

I must do research. If the elders weren't all that powerful, and they weren't all that smart, then what the hell was thanos' claim to fame? the fact that he found about these gems?

The good feats out of that series, are the IB one, the Runner one (although, that was with a Gem, but so was Runner's), and the outsmarting of the Grandmaster.
Also, his claim to fame was getting the IG in full.

of course. But couldn't anyone else have easily don'e the same so they wished? I could see Odin just pwning all the elders and getting the IG. or galactus. Maybe I put too much stock into the elders. I'm thinking they had the gems becuz they were so powerful and smart that no one would bother to try and get the gems from them. And this was Thanos claim.
