I also got the impression that Rage and Hope share a similar relationship to Fear and Willpower. Maybe that's what Atrocitus was referring to when he spoke of knowing the blue light's weakness.
both rings seem to be capable of cancelling each other out, in a way.

I'll admit, that blue/green costume looks pretty sweet. With both rings, Hal might even be half as powerful as he used to be.
According to what's shown, however, he my be the most powerful wielder and probably not even need to recharge. The blue lanterns can recharge a green's ring while the blue needs the green ring's aura to work. Using a blue ring, he could be operating his green power to 100% ++ all the time.

Thats what I was thinking. Maybe Blue and Green will be working together after this. Something like Heroes "One of us, One of them". I wonder if any Green Lantern would be allowed to wear both rings.
As for the twist that Blue needs Green to operate, I thought it was pretty sweet. I dont think anyone saw it coming.
I think Blackest Night will have a 4 on 4 ultimate battle. Green/Blue/Violet/Indigo -vs- Yellow/Red/Orange/Black.
I cant wait until this event fully starts.

The rest are just thrown together groups of characters that thus far aren't that interesting. Plus, they diminish the GLC in my eyes.

I don't mind the Sinestro Corps actually because Geoff tied it in well with GLC history and Sinestro himself is one of their greatest enemies. The rest are just thrown together groups of characters that thus far aren't that interesting. Plus, they diminish the GLC in my eyes.
They'll be needed to fight the dead.

Originally posted by Vally DooshWell actually the violet corps has a deep history with the GLC too. You know with the zamarons and the Star sapphire and all.

Possible Blackest Night spoilers here...
i didnt see those pages in any other comic this week... are they new, or what?

Makes sense now.
And Prime will probably run through everything again if he does indeed appear in BK.
That sux! I wanna see the least amount of non-corp members in BK. I dont see why L.L has to get involved. If he gets involved, more than likely S.M willl be there to in some capacity. Prime I understand since he was there during the Sinestro Corps War. While I like the characters, I dont wanna see no Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman or any variations of the characters anywhere BK.
