nah... although i would like to see the gl's recruit from outside sources (given the power behind the SC), i can't see them bringing in the jla (as sweet as it would be, imagine, supes, batman and red arrow going to town on sc members).

the "red" has nothing to do with the spectrum of emotions. i know that ppl might rationalize and say ok yellow means fear, green is will power so red must be anger or something, who knows it may be in reference to GLC. but as Swamp thing is the guardian of the "Green", which represents all the flora of the Earth, the "Red" represents all the fauna, AKA animal life. ppl like animal man, bwanna beast and vixen, they tap into the "red" thats why i am hella confused cuz i always accepted firestorm as a fire elemental, especially after they had made the professor into a true fire elemental.

plus as far as i know swamp thing's daughter was the Guardian of the red, in fact she was damn near the queen of it. and after eating the tree of knowledge she had sway over both plant and animal but her emphasis was on animal life so i dont know if DC just picked up a bad batch of Meth something cuz blatantly disregarding thier own set continuity is out of character for them, as DC is a bastion of logic and common sense <-----(sarcasm), but how they got the nuclear man to be guardian of the Red, i dont know, you tell me 😎

I know of the red that animal man and them tap into, you don't have to give me a history lesson.....but I'm not sure if it's speaking of the same thing. That's why I was more thinking it may be related to this.

umm i was just throwing my two cents out there, I wasnt taking on any one personally or trying to insult and or offend. sorry you took it that way. i guess the point that got lost in my lentghy thesis there is that DS has a complelety different agenda, which is the AL equation and he has never been closely to cracking it as he is now. so the red as we know probably has no signifacnce here.

i remember someone saying how all of the colors are life. so if ds were to somehow get them he'd be able to control all life. ala Anti-Life Equation. Maybe the color war is more related to DS than we think

I agree with the GLC recruiting outsiders. They are supposed the shit in terms of law enforcement in the DCU, asking for help will diminish that as u said.

If you guys are wanting to know about the prophesy they keep speaking of. The issue is collected in the "Across the Universe: The DC Universe Stories of Alan Moore". In there, is a "Tales of the Green Lantern Corp", that looks like a backup from an old Annual or one-shot. Abin Sur is told how he will die, how an Earthman will replace him and eclipse everyone as the greatest of Green Lanterns, and finally of "The Final Catastrophy". If you guys want me to write it up, I could do that as well.
