I'm feeling much man-love for Sodam - I definitely want to see more of him.
However, some have theorized he'll become the next torchbearer. Does anyone really believe this? Hasn't the series emphasized the importance of the human lanterns? Considering that Earth is the center of the multiverse and all - and the writer even mentioned that there'll be more explanation of why exactly there have been so many human-lanterns.
But, anywho, Sodam prevented Ranx from destroying Mogo - so does that mean the prophecy is all wrong? That, perhaps, Sodam won't be hailed as the 'ultimate' green lantern?
Or, perhaps, that he won't die battling the lobe-spawn?
Or perhaps the 'ultimate' green lantern business is not a sign of power, but of character. Maybe Sodam represents the Ultimate Lantern by his character - as exemplified in his very recent showing in Corps 16.
After all, as he's been told repeatedly "You're no Hal Jordan."
Also, I'm really loving the Lantern on-goings. They've gotten me more and more into it...so...
I've gotten all of v4, all of corps, the sinestro corps tie-ins, ION, rebirth, recharge, willworld, and circle of fire.
Any other suggestions for good lantern-reading? Without going back and collecting every lantern comic since V1?
Couple more feats. Yat's still kind of a new character.
The only thing I find frustrating about Sinestro Corp Wars, is that Guardians are ****ing idiots. Let's see, they got wiped out, what? 3 times? Ganthet survived the last purge and brought them their god damn torchbearer. And for questioning their blind devotion to hiding the facts, he gets exiled from the council? The only Guardian to be a member of the Quintessence, and he gets the boot? 👇

I really feel that this and the Immortal Iron Fist are some of the best comics being made right now; and if you know how much of an Iron Fist fanboy I am, you'll know that's some pretty high praise.
(Iron Fist's art kicks the shit out of the Lantern's, though. Still don't think that the GL or GLC art is bad.)

Nah, this definetly doesn't come under "some of the best comics being made right now" for me, it's alright.. but alot of it just seems like senseless violence for the sake of senseless violence.
It doesn't grip me enough, nor do I go "Oh my dizzle, more sinestro corps this week" like I do with books like Captain America, Avengers: The Initiatve or even Booster Gold.
GL art's pretty good, but the artwork on GLC really annoys me, it kind of puts me off a little. I have to admit I like reading about the more obscure Lanterns though, especially when you've got some Guy Gardner to go along with it.
