You went from Judge's last resort to Nvr's sock (actual sock; that goes on fut, and whatever else nvr does with it...ermm). 🙂
You don't even want to know the ways Nvr uses a sock. shock
He's a rookie Green Lantern, entrusted with a huge amount of power, and given Daxamite powers with next to no briefing.
"There's a steep learning curve here as I try to process what I can and cannot do."
And the lead seemed to drastically affect him - which is to be expected. The mere level of lead in our atmosphere is almost instantaneously lethal to daxamites - much less being in a reactor made of it. For whatever reason, it also seemed like the ring's entire power was being tapped in order to prevent the lead poisoning. And the fight seemed to take an extraordinarily long amount of time - disproportionate to the number of panels.
I'm not trying to make excuses for his performance, it was piss-poor. But, there are a couple little caveats that we cannot ignore here. I sincerely hope to see Yat go for round 2 in GL 25, though I'm honestly not expecting it.

So a GL ring doesn't provide radiation shielding? I can appreciate the explanation, but this is saturated of PIS. No way that a GL ring, particularly imbued with the Ion power, can't deflect lead radiation or incoming objects. Not to mention that he didn't try to utilize any constructs or shields. His offense consists of punches, heat vision, and a grean blast?
Poorly written.
