Agreed. Kyle got his whole molecular structure played with and was punched through his chest. He was nowhere near death and won his battle fairly easily afterwards.

Yat get's a lead pole and nearly dies.

Kyle as ION would definitely have done better against SBP... maybe not have won, but definitely would have done better than Yat.

Yeah, it basically goes back to the rookie factor. Kyle was a top shelf Green Lantern before being given the whale so it makes that his skill would make him a powerful Ion despite Yat being a Daxamite.

I remember arguing this exact topic in the Vs forum. Go me.

But wouldn't the ring protect him from the lead radiation? GL's fly through space and get bombarded with cosmic rays 24/7 with no ill effects. It can't filter out lead?

If Kyle can survive a fist through his heart and having his atomic structure manipulated easily to the point that it's just a nuisance...lead poisoning should be a joke.

I'm pretty sure lead isn't radioactive on any significant level.

read 18... liked it, maybe a few niggles, but generally a decent issue... imo yat just wasnt ready to take on the ion mantle, and it showed...

So what do you guys think will the 5 GL whoop Prime or something else will happen?
