I see Prime turning renegade or something. The way SMP is being written, the GLs won't be the ones to take him out. I do see the 5 taking down most of the Sin corp. Though........I have no idea about AM. Henshaw's out of comission, SMP is probably going to turn renegade, Sinestro will probably go down to the 5, Warworld is either going to blow or vamoose back to Qward............, but I still don't know what Johns is going to do about AM. 😕
I have my fingers crossed that Yat comes back for another round with Prime.
I'm not expecting it, but I'm hoping.
As far as what I really expect to happen - there seems to be plenty of evidence that Prime'll betray the Antimonitor.
Then, the Antimonitor somehow BFR's and powers him up simultaneously, perfect for his appearances in Countdown.
What would be lame yet likely to happen :
Not explaining how Cyborg Superman was defeated.
Ion getting back up and defeating Superboy Prime in the Ion special or GL 25 (Possibly after a discussion with Kyle)
What is possible to happen :
Hal (possibly with Kyle's help) defeats Sinestro while the Green Lantern Corps along with the other superheroes defeat/force the Sinestro Corps to retreat taking Sinestro with them. Anti-Monitor reveals his plan, which is to destroy the Multiverse and Superboy Prime, thinking about how in this Multiverse his Earth could also exist doesn't want Anti-Monitor to destroy it and "teams up" with the heroes, wanting to get his payback on Anti-Monitor at the same time. They somehow manage to beat him with Superboy Prime's help which gets a power-up in the process and is transported into another Universe. Although I'm not really sure what's the "bizzare" fate of the Anti-Monitor 😬
* Van Sciver drew 11 pages for Green Lantern #25, concluding the Sinestro Corp Wars story. "First and foremost, in Green Lantern #25, you will meet some other colors of the rainbow," he said. "It will be very colorful event for Green Lantern fans."The issue will include a two-page back-up preview of the next Green Lantern event by Geoff Johns and Van Sciver.
Van Sciver said the event will take place around Green Lantern #46-50 in the spring of 2009. "It is the absolute, ultimate Green Lantern story," he said. "It doesn't get any bigger."
He said he can't reveal the title of the event until after Green Lantern #25.
