Final fantasy 7 vs Final fantasy 8

Dude graphics shouldn't be what makes a game good.

Well, tell that to Sony, meanwhile the Wii is outselling it 2 to 1 since launch. Sony tried to flip things, and put graphics in to try to sell the best, when Ps2 had the worst graphics, and sold the best last-generation.

I like good graphics but story, gameplay, and other things are more important.

All the more reason why I love classic games so much more. Mario RPG is clearly one of the greatest games ever made, and one of Squaresoft's best products, they did it with Nintendo, but still.

Dude Super Smash Bros Melee is a modern classic. You don't need to learn all these d*** combos like in (basically) every other fighting game. It's easy to get into and really once you learned how to fight as any character they can be a powerhouse.

But enough of SSBM let's focus on bashing FF7; most overrated game ever.

Superstar Saga is no WAY is even close to RPG. The Paper Mario trilogy beats the Mario & Luigi saga, the M&L Saga has ridiculous boss fights.

The ending boss fights in M&L took me 2-3 hours in each, and I was at a decent level at the end of each game. There's no reason a final boss should take that long.

Some people would say that I perfer 1-6 over the newer ones because I played those first but I actually started out with number VII so if anything that should get the benefit of the doubt or whatever you call it since I didn't even touch the SNES II and III until after I played VII and VIII and IX.
