Same here. 1st issues most times set up the rest of the story/series, like this one.

This is going to be like the original Crisis was for DC. Marvel can retcon anything it wants at this point. Anything. In 10 years, people will be talking about pre and post Invasion, and figuring out at which points characters' feats ceased to be in continuity ("nuh-uh! Wolverine was CLEARLY a Skrull when Spider-Man waxed his ass all over Manhattan!"...things like that). Wouldn't be surprised if we find out that some character has been a Skrull since, say, the Kree-Skrull War back in the day.

Or not. Maybe it'll just confuse and annoy us ( 😐 ). Gotta say I enjoy the chaos though. Can't say I'm terribly worried about Marvel continuity, or that I care about Marvel a ton period, so they can mess around with whatever they want as far as I'm concerned. They can't screw up Spidey any more than the Clone Saga and OMD poo, so I'm just in it for the angry fanboys.

Gotta say, it would really suck if Luke turns out to be a Skrull. Current Cage is 20x the character he was back in the 70s and 80s.

Wasnt Jean shown in the W.H.R during Morrison's run? Which would make it a possible/alternate future timeline. Anyways, I doubt they real too. Wikipedia is already labeling them as being real.
