What I don't get is if the Black Bolt that Hulk fought on the moon was really "Skrull Bolt," then why the hell didn't we see it? When Skrull Bolt finally decided to throw down with the rest of the Illuminati, he showed he had some of all of their powers..
..my question then, is why the hell would he not revert to using those powers if he's getting the holy hell knocked out of him by the Hulk? Surely he would have used his other powers at least once, seeing as Skrulls like to save their own skin, and Skrull Bolt's life was being threatened all over the comic.
Too soon I guess. He only revealed himself to the Illuminati. As such, his cover hasnt been blown with the Inhumans and since they dont trust humans too much, they could become an asset. Then again, he had no reason to reveal himself. Im sure he has been to countless meetings, How was he supposed to know that this particular one was about their discovery. As for being beaten by Hulk, thats just it, he just got knocked out. Elektra reverted when she died. Keep in mind that Luke kick her in her "pleasure spot" and she didnt reverted.

a chemical change isn't an injury, though. chemical changes occur every time he has a dirty thought, or eats a sandwich, or spins around too fast. his body doesn't heal away poisons, it instantly corrects damage done so that the poison is essentially useless. but a chemical change in the brain isn't an injury, whereas the build-up of alcohol remnants in the liver does cause cell death. so, while his liver would be healing, and the 95% of alcohol being distilled through there would be taken care of, the remaining percents in his tissues, bloodstream and brain would and could still take effect. it's a matter of how much he drinks, how quickly, and what he's drinking.
logan BEING drunk undoes him saying he can't get drunk. just like, for example, if luke cage's skin was penetrated. you can't say "his skin is unbreakable" once it's been breached, just like you can't say "logan can't get drunk" once he's sloshed. maybe secret wars isn't the best source of information by your standards, but it is still canon and the events therein happened.

It not the same thing. Logan has said he can't get drunk then sat there and tried his hardest to get drunk.
so him being drunk is a mistake of the writer nothing more.

I guess once we find out Nick Furys Agenda with the circled heroes things will come together. I wish there was a standard slate of what heroes can and cannot do so writers could actually write them as they were meant to be. Of course liberties have to be taken here and there but u get it.
I think it would have been kool to "research" past comics for clues into this whole skrull mystery. But to me it feels like writers inconsistency is throwing us for loops trying to find out whats up. Again, i like where this is going but i'm afraid of the journey!

well the thing is i know logan told night crawler in ultimate xmen that he couldnt get drunk....and it was referenced a few times in 616 but the way its always presented in comics i always understood it as his buzz would wear off in a few minutes....thats why he had to keep pounding(which we've seen him do) to stay at one, albeit ,slight level of drunkeness

you're using two contrary lines of logic. first, you say the comic doesn't make sense because logan SAYS he hasn't seen spider-man out-of-uniform when he has. but then you deny that logan can get drunk, despite him being shown as drunk, because he SAYS he can't. you're selectively deciding what dialogue outranks what action. if logan says he can't get drunk, but did, and it's just a writer's mstake then it stands to reason that if logan SAYS he hasn't seen spider-man out-of-uniform, it must be equally true.
either logan can't get drunk and has never seen spider-man out-of-uniform, or he CAN get drunk and HAS seen spider-man out of uniform and it's his dialogue that's wrong.
you can't have these kinds of contradictions in a logical argument. it's like trying to have your cake and eat it too.

I was re-reading New Avengers 12 (fighting ninjas issue). In the midst of battle, Spidey tells the ninjas they smell good. Iron man says have you ever smelled dr doom. Spidey says he smelled pretty bad in the kree/skrull war. Iron man says what are you talking about. I believe that is our clue. Was spidey in that war, I don't think so. he is a skrull. Opinions.
