i know the skrulls are a billion yrs more evolved, and more tech advanced than humans but i didnt like the implication of Athena possibly being a skrull by highlighting her green eyes at the end. i simply refuse to believe that the skrulls could have infiltrated any pantheon

That explanation sounds good to me. There seemed to be somebody out in space with Sentry. I wonder, When the Void manifests himself, Is it only on Bob's mind or Is Bob actually creating another separate being?

It's an actual physical being. It's interacted with people other than the Sentry before; nearly ruined Doc Samson, messed up the Hulk, killed a whole bunch of random folks.

nothing really happens. the skrull they captured sends them on a wild goose chase to find william, who is apparently a kree spy sent to discover the skrull intentions for earth long before we humans knew anything was happening. carol has a nervous breakdown and apparently bangs wonder man, despite having just been searching for her captured boyfriend. she reveals that she wanted to kill a bunch of people she recently fought, and let that one guy kill himself when she could have saved his life. nothing really special.

after the t-rex attack, spider-man gets flung into the wilderness of the savage land and is confronted by ka-zar, zabu, shanna and some other residents. despite mistrust between the groups, such as spider-man referring to ka-zar as skrull-zar, the king and queen of the savage land recap their perspective of the vibranium-mining incident that occurred tons of issues back in new avengers. apparently the "rogue shield faction" was a bunch of skrulls who'd infiltrated shield and were mining the vibranium presumably to make weapons of it. shanna infiltrated the unit after she and ka-zar discovered the first skrull, and was almost taken down by the group before ka-zar and zabu intervened. they regroup and intend to attack the miners at the exact moment the new avengers are breaking up the operation. spider-man gets the information from them, but continues to disbelieve that ka-zar is who he says he is. as they're arguing, "captain america" comes from out of the brush.
I like NA 41 because they went back to explain why "Shield" attacked the New Avengers way back. One thing though, When they attacked the NA, Spider Woman was with them. Why would the Skrulls risk their queen with such attack?
Ive never liked Ka-zar and company but I liked Shannah in this issue.
Im sure that "Cap" is a skrull.

what confused me was the shanna seemed to be getting set up to be a skrull at the introduction. she was just gone for three days with no explanation, so i was assuming she was a skrull during the whole story. but then she's leading the attack on other skrulls, who clearly don't recognize her and tried to kill her. so i guess that frees her of suspicion.

then again, spider-woman was there for the elektra fight, and even went so far as to turn elektra over to stark.

I didn't know where to post this but after the SI it seems that we're getting another Sentry Mini-Series but it looks like it's one of those First-Class style books.(See Wolverine First Class)
