Who Can you Trust? Who else is a Skrull?

Skrulls=Cylons?

Im not sure if this has been mentioned already but I wonder if Bendis got the "idea" for the sleeper skrulls from BattleStar Galactica. I finally got around to start watching the new series and it is said that the sleeper Cylons dont know what they are until they are activated. Sound familiar? Hmmmm, they must be related to the sleeper skrulls!

Coincidence???

isn't that what a sleeper agent is, though? it's a double blind, nobody knows the agent is an agent, including the agent.

I guess to an extent. Most sleeper agents Ive seen in movies know what they are and strike at their convinience. Sleeper Skrulls/Cylons are not aware until they are "activated". I think OMACS(DC) and Sharon Carter as of late may fall on the Cylon/Skrull trend. Has there been sleepers in other mediums(movies, tv) that dont know they are sleepers until activated?

Pretty much like Atlanteean sleeper agents or prime sentinels.

i get the feeling that the skrull infiltrators are mostly not "sleepers," in the sense that they do in fact know who they are. mar-vell may be the only one who completely underwent a personality change, with the possible exception of tony stark. aside from that, we saw other influential skrull infiltrators meeting in their human disguises to discuss strategy. at least some of the atlanteans seemed completely "asleep," like that guy who'd owned the pet store. others, like the duo in the wolverine title, seemed fully aware of who they really were.

just gotta say kudos to ms marvel for taking a forward approach to dealing with these bastards and realizing that this isnt skrull invasions of the past where the heroes would just beat them up, break thier equipment and tie them up with grapping cords til SHIELD shows up to cart them off.....she's been killing them rather neatly and enjoying it along the way. too bad wolverine, ares and natasha are the only other Avengers we can depend on to treat them the same

Ms. Marvel is an assassin, just a cute one.

pym in the initiative was finally getting past the stigma of being tagged a wife-beater... most writers used that to define him, but in initiative he was getting past that, he'd even become a national hero when he saved the president from hydra...

bendis really hates pym... tis a f*cking shame...

mighty avengers... more crap, imo...

Yeah but him changing his personality shouldve been the first clue. I believe it was mentioned before. In the latest N.A it is shown when he was taken. He was a prick to Janet before that.

but thats the thing... slott wrote those issues over a year ago, i doubt bendis had it in mind that pym would be a skrull, and even if he did, pym has been slowly redeeming himself over the years...

replicating thier power is one thing but i wonder how the skrull was able to do his intelligence........on a side note i totally prefer skrull pym his confidence and self esteem is thru the roof...byw when did the freedom ring skrull not beomce part of the invasion?

I guess it would only take one of the smartest skrulls to play someone like Pym, Reed Doom etc. Their race is more advanced technologically that they would be able to keep up with the smartest heroes.

I wonder if Tygra is a skrull too. Maybe this Skrull/Pym likes the ladies too.
