Who Can you Trust? Who else is a Skrull?

Well judging from a recent interview with Bendis and from the upcoming solits I'd guess that it's not true that

Spoiler:
Iron-man's a skrull
but it probably is true that
Spoiler:
Norman Osborn becomes head of SHIELD
which explains the very aptly named title "Dark Reign."

Yeah, check out the most recent Diggle Thunderbolts- the public loves Osborn and the Senate and the President are tripping over their heels to acquiesce to him.

The man knows good public relations...

I dont know about IM being a skrull (I doubt it myself) but Osborn becoming the Director of SHIELD (speculation so far) could explain Dark Reign. He would make everyones life miserable and the Dark Avengers series (mini?) could be his hand picked villains forming a team.

And with the hints that the Void is going to do battle with the Skrulls, effectively taking over the Sentry's place on Earth... and the Void most likely wouldn't have the compunctions of agrophobia to prevent him from making his vast powers and presence felt... it starts to shape up exactly what "Dark Reign" means. Osborn in charge of Shield, the Hood and his crew stronger and with less united opposition from heroes, a villain as the master of magic and all that comes with that, the Void without the Sentry holding him back... I wonder who is going to be picked to compose the Dark Avengers... A mix of controllable heroes and villains like the Thunderbolts? Or is it going to be straight out evil characters?

I think the Hood might get that title to be honest...maybe Loki...anyway there's a Marvel magic event around the corner. Hopefully Selene shows up

I doubt its the

Spoiler:
Hood
seeing as how
Spoiler:
Dormammu
has been revealed to be behind his powers . As for Dr.Doom being the next in line, I doubt it. He's not fit to be Sorcerer Supreme.

Well, the chickens are coming home to roost all over for Tony Stark, aren't they? 😉

All the secret Illuminati business is laid out, with the Hulk's return and the Secret Invasion happening because of his group. His manipulations of Norman Osborn to win the Civil War through trickery & putting him in a place of power, are backfiring big time now. Looks good on the all-knowing futurist. 😛
I hope Reed Richards gets his comeuppance soon.

On my facebook page I have a notice board full of badges, mostly Christian or Comic badges with quotations.

One of these badges says "Cap was right."

Yep.

Tony is well intentioned, but he's going to find out what the Ultimates came to realize, that government-run superheroes will lead to war with other countries. It's one thing to have registration in Canada; we don't function as the World Policeman. That's the kind of power Cap was afraid to give the governemnt.

Maybe [spoilers]Scarlet Witch[/spoilers] will be Sorcerer Supreme.

There was a line of female Sorceresses Supreme, the current one (and female counterpart to Strange) being (most probably) Nightcrawler's stepmother, Margali Szardos.

Since Szardos family would

Spoiler:
be most likely f*cked up greatly in the upcoming X-Infernus event, considering that Margali's daughter and heir was the second Magik under fake name Amanda Sefton which is anyway what most know her for
, there might be very well new Sorceress Supreme, and for the first time in many ages we can probably watch the relative importance of the positions reversed.
Both positions are going to be vacant likely and there's someone
Spoiler:
aka Loki
who's qualified to sit on both chairs.

I honestly don't see Loki as Sorcerer Supreme material, (s)he is an accomplished magician, but being around for centuries would make you think the title would've been Loki's already if it was possible.

When Strange failed in the reigning, Loki became sorcerer supreme.

Isn't that the heroes reborn universe?

i actually remeber an old school bio in one of the earlier handbooks that specifically said that LOki was a more potent sorcerer than Strange...despite strange possesing the title.,..but hey, who knows how marvel feels about that now

That might be because the sorcerere supreme is for the earth dimension not the whole marvel universe. I think every dimension has its sorcerer supreme.

Strange would introduce himself as "this dimension's Sorcerer Supreme." He was in charge of the Earth dimension. I don't think he was speaking for Asgard, or Olympus & such.
When Odin was alive, he would have been considered the top magic user in Asgard, not Loki.

so is it all over yet?

i dont think it is over yet, i think the last issue is coming out tomorrow.
