"decoding the bible: sex from heaven" well now 🙄

what dont agree with is the fact that you seem to utterly and completely believe in your interpretation as opposed to looking at it as a theory or hypothesis.
Gen 2: 8 and the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden.
Therefore: Eden is NOT a garden, but a “garden was planted” in Eden. This garden being your five senses or your brain/face. Eastward is your face, where all of your senses meet in your brain. East is the front of your body.
Holy leap of logic batman!!!
Interesting interpretation, but I'm not sure how you're getting "trees = senses."
I think that you're reading the story and trying to force it to fit to your interpretation.
(This isn't aimed at you, but I like how anyone who takes Genesis at face value is merely parroting what another person has told him or her.)

No, it's good like it is. But I'll have to read it later on. Section by section, metaphor by metaphor.Though the water flowing out of Eden (Eve) could mean menstruation (river) that gave life.
And I have read that semen is symbolic for spirit in many pagan religions.

johannes, why do you believe in the bible?

well, the things i have posted here is an example that the bible has a true meaning if we can decode or understand it, to just read the bible doesnt make sense at all, it contradics itself all the time.
the bible is a manual for the human body, it fully explains the human and his future and his past, which is essensial to understand if you want to understand yourself.
in follow up posts i hope to convince you of that.
But what if the bible is not the truth, and you are just reading into the bible what you want to see?

The Bible does have meanings as long as we try to put it into an objective context and understand that certainwords have double meanings as well. Furthermore, nowhere does it say in the bible that things should be taken litteraly. Infact, it says quite the opposite. Jesus purposely spoke in parables in the bible.
