i think god of war 3 is set for like late 09. So sony has a game for that part of the year since early 09 will be for Killzone 2, and Spring inFamous and MAG, as well as DC Universe i believe?
i can believe that theyll make the release date of march 09, IF they showed gameplay footage, like RE5 which is releasing in march 09.
However all SCE Santa Monica showed was a cg teaser. What have they been working on since GOW2(helping Icognito with Warhawk)? and what has Incognito Entertainment being doing since WarHawk??? Where's Twisted Metal?!!
what has Naughty Dog been doing since Uncharted? what is this Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier? Insomniac has been pushin Ratchet expansion and Resistance 2...what is the deal with ND?
wheres Dark Cloud 3?

Helpful if you read what I am talking about, which was the specific linked article.
SDJ, your link seems to confirm precisely what I say. if it is true and genuine 1:1 movement as 'real' as you can get... why do you need to press a button to block? Do real swords have block buttons? Why don't you just hold your sword in a blocking position?
No, see, it's NOT true and literal at all, and never will be. We'll just get improved versions of what Red Steel did, and it will never be fully 1:1.

You know Naughty Dog is a smaller company while Insomniac is much bigger?
Some developing firms do one game, and then start another just after the main work of the last game is done, while bigger companies like Insomniac having numerous teams working on games.

I was just under my own assumption that Naughty Dog and Insomniac were similar in the number of teams/employees since their games show a few similarities and have worked together in the past.

I never actually imply 1:1 controls to the extent of 1:1 lightsaber game everyone dreams about, what I meant was what the 1:1 control the wiimote is capable of giving... you move slightly to the left, and the blade/sword moves exactly the same on screen... 1:1 replication of movement on screen... that's it, The Disc Golf game seems to be the best example of this.
I never said it was actually "real" 1:1 controls, in fact, I said I don't care if it is "true" 1:1 ( I much rather pick a stick or Master Replicas FX Lightsaber and fight with someone else for real, even though I'd probably look silly). What I care about is a more precise and responsive controller, and not have to resort to waggle for almost every game out there.
...like the IGN article says "That a few extra accelerometers could make such a difference is almost comical, but it's true."
... of course, none of that matters if we don't actually try it out for ourselves....
