hmm, Red Hulk might actually be another split off from Banner or Hulk.
seems to have a soft spot for She-Hulk, going out of his way to personally give her a convincing warning to stay out of the way. he didn't bother being quite so communicative with IronMan.
the Wendigo fight demonstrates ruthlessness of a level no Hulk has ever had before (not including Ultimate/Zombie cannibal Hulk), but they really didn't show anything there... not even a couple more earthquaking punches 🙁.
At the Emerald City Comic-Con during the Marvel panel someone asked if it were Samson and he was told no. I just hope its not some cornball alternate universe version of the Hulk.
On topic, X-men win this. Emma AND Xavier trying to put Hulk down while Iceman freezes his blood and Nightcrawler teleports his head off with Colossus with Wolverine keeping him busy.

So I guess hot knife > adamantium. Also meh! one Wendigo had a HUGE gapping hole in his chest and had his heart removed and still survived. So perhaps this one could have survived and healed, but the other Wendigo ate him before then *shrugs*
Is that the same gun that killed Abomination?
