Cornia knocked on the door once more. No one appeared to be home, which was a shame. It complicated things some, but she decided to take things as they came. She knew that sooner or later would she run into Sky and Carbo. For now, she had to show her hospitality to the poor Dek, stranger in hostile land. She smiled at the fox before taking a step back from the door. She shook her head and turned to him entirely.

"No one appear to be home. I will have this event wait till other times and will just bring you out for dinner now. You are still hungry, are you not?"

She placed her hand on his shoulder before walking a few steps, to the stairs. She looked out over the wolven 'citadel' and gave out a sigh. Could this war never end? But she had hopes. Many things indicated that there could be a moment of peace, if only they stayed and listened. But no wolves, nor foxes were ready for it yet. She would just have to let time take its course and effect with the minor things she could. She turned back to Dek, grabbed his hand and started walking down the stairs. She had promised him something to eat, and then eat he shall.
