Wasn't talking to you Marie. I was stating it to all. Believe it or not people to ask about my age and to avoid resulting in anyone else doing it, I answered like that. Now I'm not going to get into this argument that you want to throw at me anymore so I'll conclude. I wasn't talking to you but stating it in this thing WHICH you have not posted in for quite a while, I don't care if you feel offended because it clearly wasn't meant to be offensive, and have fun all =PBy the way Marie, I advise you to stop Trolling.
She's not trolling. I advise you to not backseat mod.
And...anyone that clicks your profile can see your age.

😂 I am totally the same way.
Life was way better in the 90s, though. I suppose that's one of the reasons it's easy to get stuck in what was true back then.
It weren't nasty at all. It was a genuine question, since there's a massive negative charge in phrasing it as such. With hindsight, my question makes even more sense, since she has her age written in her profile.
The only nasty turn things take around here, is when people decide to interpret mine and others words negatively without bothering thinking it maybe weren't intended malevolent.
I don't mind her answering questions, particularly not FAQs, but I feel that there is an unwritten guideline to how you should behave. I'm not saying I'm right, but what I am saying, is that it's like many other topics something that should be discussable and not viewed as trolling when it is brought up.
I have no dark intentions, just a genuine interest in understanding fellow man and member. The increasing disregard for proper manners is spreading on the Internet like the Black Death and I feel it should be adressed, rather than accepted.
I am, however, slowly realizing that this might be the wrong place to hope for a civil discussion in. Especially when it involve something someone here has done.

This made me feel sooooo welcome.
It wasn't really aggressive, not any more than any blunt question. It inquired the reasoning behind writing an answer to a question that nullify the purpose of the question (Which was written in a highly aggressive, and negative manner).
I wanted to know the reasoning behind it, and I can't imagine any less negative way to ask it without sounding redundantly sugarsweet. And I don't do sugarsweet, it shouldn't be necessary.
Granted, my post could do without the "even", it'd remove the negative charge, but lets be frank here: I felt, as a person, disrespected by how she wrote it and replied in the heat of the moment. I'm confident that I'm not the only one that felt disrespected, and in the end, I'm no Gandhi. I don't manage that well around impoliteness, so occasional negativity might occur.
No one is perfect, but I didn't intend for it to be negative, which from an objective perspective even Phoenix should see. Her comment, on the other hand, does not scream respect and curiosity. It's just a rude retaliation to a genuine question.
Nonetheless, it was phrased in a way that could be seen as aggressive, and you seeing it as disrespectful is not something I see as reasonable. So as much as her later reply was needlessly hostile, you also need to understand your role on it.
That's the last word on the matter- move it on, thank you.
Why yes, I do get the role I ended up having, but it's not really fair game. Phoenix has her mind made up about me, so of course she'll take it negatively. I've lost before it's gotten started. (This is on a different note, not about the previous discussion)
I have a lot of pent up frustration revolving this community, which is a darn shame as I love it to bits. Out of loyalty mostly, I suppose, I've been around for a while.
It's just that many of the times that I make posts, about something someone said, or simply answering some general question (Favorite example below)

I get crapped on. I don't know what I've done to deserve this role.
Although I suppose I've started to outgrow this place, because any time I think a discussion is coming along nicely, it takes the terrible turn of offending someone and moderators come in to slow things down. I suppose my idea of discussing ain't propriate KMC material.
i like how many times ush has said in very polite terms "shut up, and leave it", and its still not happening. its always interesting to see people trolling the mods. oh.. and how has anyone been, anyways? place is sort of.. what the word? decaying? declining? something with a d..
i think.. i want a really awesome chair, made of leather and sun-dried animal bones.. like something you could think an american indian would make, if they made stuff like that..
