Note - My ambitions/ego seem to have inflated 20-fold overnight. The idea I have now is gonna be damn huge. I may not even be able to do it at all, given my full time study. But if I don't do it now, I don't know when, so myerr.
Hell, I may even need my own forum for this, like what Jacope did with UHRP4. If that's the case, who would be interested?
*sighs* Why am I even being pulled into this? I've been around not as long but I know roleplaying.. I myself said that Jacope is a good RPer. A great one in fact. Personally, I rate him as a stronger RPer because of his idea's and general use then in almost every RP I saw him in-- and I read back and know how he was before I got here.
Jacope is awesome in my opinion, and talking crap about him isn't acceptable especially when he has no ability to fight back against it. I'm not saying that just because I have a positive opinion about him, because I have some seriously negative ones about some people here but I don't voice them because it is rude.

It doesn't really matter what you began as. It's what kind of boom you go out with that really matter, and he went out with one arrogant boom.
Granted, he was a very successful roleplayer. I even liked him for it, until the point when it went to his head and he started acting as if he was God's gift to KMC.
Then it's a matter of asking yourself what's a successful roleplayer. Is it having a prosperous roleplay, prominent to say the least? Or is it the attitude you have towards the community and members you're part of. JacopeX used to be nice and all, but he stopped. He got too engulfed in the notion that he was better than the rest. You can go ahead and say however much you want that it ain't the case based on how he used to be, but it really is on how he was in the end.
Because to me, a successful roleplayer is not the same thing as a successful roleplay. He did a roleplay, that remained because it gave the crowd what it wanted, and because it had loyal followers. I'm not saying he did a bad job, but I wouldn't say a successful serie of roleplays make you the most successful roleplayer.
- I'd nominate Cherrywild for that. Loved, kind and helpful. She treated everyone with respect, regardless of opinion. The roleplays she took part of had a spark of life, and didn't just progress.
JacopeX did variations of the same character over, and over again. The reason he was successful, was because he mostly kept himself to the kind of roleplay in which he knew what do, with the kind of characters he knew how to use.
Most successful ever? If you include monotone. There's a philosophical saying: You can't fail if you don't try. The concept of said saying is that if you stick to what you know, you are unlikely to fail, but then you won't learn anything and nothing will change.

That right there is a negative opinion. If you don't like him, I don't blame you.. It is your opinion. I support people to believe in what they will.. But I've never been one to support kicking someone when they're down and he's not just down, he's out.. He can't defend himself.. It's just... wrong..

I would be interested, I like private forums, especially if it uses the forumup servers.
