Hahahahaha.
1. Exar Kun > NJO Luke Skywalker and DE Sidious [beat them at the same time].
2. Revan > every PT character [hahahahahahahahahahahahah].
3. Count Dooku > Darth Sidious in all aspects [hahahahahahaha].
4. Count Dooku = Yoda [hahahahahahahaha].
5. Marka Ragnos > NJO Luke Skywalker, DE Sidious, Yoda, and Kun.
...The list goes on, and yet here's five excellent examples of what the previous regime widely accepted as fact. As you can see, it's flawed, and most of them have recanted their ways [or, if you prefer, deny they ever thought that or change the subject when it's brought up].
Say what you will about this new era, but we argue facts and source material in ways the Ones Who Came Before Us never did.
I agree. Yoda, Mace, Siidous, Anakin - they are strong, but they arn't miles ahead of the great masters before them.
The Ones Who Came Before [as I like to call them], would have you believe that the 'great masters before them' are miles and miles ahead of Yoda, Mace, Sidious, and Anakin. No one here is saying that any of the aforementioned four would curbstomp every Ancient Sith in sight; but face facts: they would win. If you don't like that, well, I'm sorry.

Sith'ari has posted on my site recently and he told me he was done being a sock and didn't want to come back here anymore because it's getting old, and he sounded sincere. Plus, annoying as some people may find him, he has never acted like zomgwtfbbqpwnt does. I personally feel that zomgwtfbbqpwnt and the guy with the disgusting sig are the same people.

I know Gideon already covered this, but seriously dude, the Janus days were the ones where the ancient sith pwnd all and there were "many" sith as strong as Sidious in the Kotor age.

Lol, I was just viewing "Marka Ragnos runs the gauntlet!" and "Dooku vs. Sidious", and I laughed my ass off.
As far as the most underrated character is concerned...Pellaeon doesn't ever get any mention.
But if we're talking underrated in terms of combat ability, then probably Corran Horn, but that's just me.
Oh, and why does everyone rail on him for being a Gary stu? He doesn't even compare to what was done to Bane and Revan over time.
i think the new sith era is underrated, they outwitted an entire empire, they nearly wiped out the sith, and they took over the freakin galaxy
and half of their members know force lightning and are very proficient with a blade, but the fact that they all have maul tatooes is gay
i think talon (if anyone) should be the only one with those tats

Personally, I'm leading towards Lucas declaring Legacy Non canon, because there's too much bullshit they won't be able to explain in the upcomg LOTF books. Suddenly, 90 years after the Imperial Remnant is all but wiped out, the Empire comes back from nothing and destroys the Galactic Republic.. Yea, that REALLY makes sense... Well if you assume that NOTHING before Legacy actually happened. And the new sith? Nothing special about them. Krayt seems to be the only one that has some uberness to him.
