"In the End" is the only song by them I really like. . .but isn't this the 'Evanescence' thread, guys? 😬
Discussing LP to the extent of arguing whether Ev sounds like them or not is ok, but discussing LP's sound on it's own isn't -_-
/end mini rant
Still no news on the GE single. We got some screen caps leaked sometime last week, but that's all we've really heard. Wind-Up won't release any info.
They're really doing a horrible job at promoting Ev. You think that as they are their biggest band signed under them, they'd put a little more effort into getting the word out.
You have to promote singles to sell them.
Anyway, I'm excited for this choice. GE will be played on a wider variety of stations than CMWYS or even Sweet Sacrifice.
I've never heard Lithium or Sweet Sacrifice played anywhere. To bad, they are good songs. I still hear Call Me When Your Sober way to much, though.
Sorry, Super long post 😮

Seriously! Thanx for makin them realize that.

Call Me When Your Sober isn't their best work, that's for sure. It's not bad though. The only thing that really bugs me is that EVERYWHERE, the official name and everything, it's spelled just like that. Grammatically it should be 'You're', but I'm a grammer freak, so people can really dismiss that, I guess.
Honestly, I think the best song EVER written by them is 'Breathe No More'
The 'just piano and Amy' version, found on the Elektra soundtrack. Amazing. I've never heard a song that fits and describes my life so well, except maybe October. They are kind of tied right now.
