Evanescence

Guys, this seriously needs to stop. Calling people you've never met in your life names is immature, and this kind of goes both ways here 😬

Just to let you know, and I'm not trying to be rude or anything, seriously, I respect you, but just to let you know, chat rooms and forums are very different, and you'll find that you get a lot more respect and are listened to a lot more on forums if you type out the words and take the time to put out a very well thought out post.

Anyway, since the topic is Evanescence, I'll try to keep to it XD

Good Enough still hasn't been released, darn them, but a few fake and/or real covers have been released. A pic showed up this week that is supposedly the radio edit cover CD. Doubtable, but us over at EvThreads are freaking out over it.

Tensions are high XD

Theres more than one, in fact. EvThreads, EvBoard, ev.it. . .and I've seen like. . .three or four independent ones also.

The only one I really post at is EvThreads, the one Amy created, but I have an account at EvBoard.

EvBoard went through some hard times, really climaxing after Amy fired John and Rocky quit.

Bleh.

EvBoard was going to sh!t, so instead of fixing it, she made a new site. Then handed over control to one of the EvBoard members.

She writes the majority of the music now. She collaborates with Terry on some of it.

She didn't use to, she use to write the lyrics, Choir, and Piano, and Ben Moody did the rest. That's Fallen.

Actually, they weren't song writing soulmates 🙁

They wrote separately. Ben would write his stuff, then give it to Amy to fix up.

They tried but couldn't write together. They had to do stuff their own way.

And they didn't get along. Apparently they did when they were younger, but when the band actually went somewhere, their personalities really clashed, both of them wanted to be in control, and neither could agree on which direction the should go in. Amy wanted to go more creative and artistic, Ben wanted to go Commercial.

I never really liked Ben. He just seemed like one you didn't want to be on their bad side. Like he was quick to anger, or something.

Perhaps the 14 million people who bought their album Fallen. Or perhaps the thousands of EvThreads/EvBoard members. 😬

If it makes you feel any better, divide that number by three, because almost every Ev fan I've ever talked to has at least three copies of each album. Fallen, ABH, and TOD.

For the record, I think they deserve those numbers.
