Honestly, I used to have two copies of Anywhere But Home, but that was a mistake. I bought one and two days later I recieved one as a gift. I've since given one away.

And b) I find that obsession can do a lot to a person. I'm sure most Ev fans can be quite meek compared to some Star Wars fans 😉

They wrote separately. Ben would write his stuff, then give it to Amy to fix up.

They tried but couldn't write together. They had to do stuff their own way.

And they didn't get along. Apparently they did when they were younger, but when the band actually went somewhere, their personalities really clashed, both of them wanted to be in control, and neither could agree on which direction the should go in. Amy wanted to go more creative and artistic, Ben wanted to go Commercial.

I never really liked Ben. He just seemed like one you didn't want to be on their bad side. Like he was quick to anger, or something.

Perhaps the 14 million people who bought their album Fallen. Or perhaps the thousands of EvThreads/EvBoard members. 😬

You seem to care to an extent that you post in the Evanescence thread. Which, if you really didn't, you would just dismiss it. 😱

I'm not saying that everything she says is correct, but according to Amy, and even Ben, they never wrote together.

Ben wrote guitar, and basically the music on Fallen. He would then show Amy, who would go off on her own and write lyrics, choir, strings etc. When she was done, she'd show it to Ben and he'd fix it all up, smooth it out. . .and TA DAA, you have Fallen. And I guess Origins as well.
