I never said he could. However, on multiple occasions, writers like to make him a god-like being beyond the confines of his limitations. He's regularly shown on a superhuman level, and has impressive victories over guys you shouldn't think him capable of beating. It's as simple as that.

right, and thats wat I was addressing. Id be willing to say that most of his "victories over guys you shouldn't think him capable of beating" involved prep of some small sort (PLUS him having some item or somesuch *fortunately* already on hand), or the lucky "Hero's Dice" rolling 3s & 4s pretty damnd hard to keep him from getting snatched and put down hard.
