What's up with Starlin drawing this Hulk-sized Orion, being a head taller than Superman? When did that happen?
It's larger than he's been depicted in the past, but I caught right away what Starlin was doing. He's drawing Orion with a build similar to his father's. I thought it was a nice touch.
(For that matter, Kalibak is quite the slab as well.)

Well considering orion is naturally 300 feet tall i dont think eing 6'7 - 7 feet is all that bad
No, I don't have a problem with it. If it's true, then it's a design detail that's been overlooked for decades now. Starlin comes to DC and says "Orion should be as big as Kalibak, don't you think? Darkseid's sons and all." And the DC editors slap their heads and say "Oh, Yeah!" Is that how it works?

he means that the reason orion took supes down so quickly is because its the past and supes was much weaker back then.
I know, hence why DS could so easily back hand him in the previous issue. As in New Gods they went toe to toe, but Orin didn't use his harness like he did in Confidential
