And rapping isn't hard at all. Playing an instrument and writing a song with melody and lyrics is hard.
Rappers just string a lot of words together and if they don't rhyme then they make them up.

That's the whole point. You don't need to be a great musical talent to rap, the same way as you didn't have to be a great musical talent to be in a punk band.
To rap, you just have to be able to speak.

you're wrong KJ. rapping may not be hard to do, but its hard to do good. so oh yes, there is def. bad rappers and good rappers, ie Puff Daddy-bad at rapping, Eminem -good at it. it takes quality and talent to make the rap connected to the beats and rythms.

Well if you're talking about one rapper v another then I can't talk because I'm not a rap fan and they all seem the same to me. And I still wouldn't say he's "talented" compared to other musicians.

i agree, ive always thought rapping was insanely simple, thats why there are so so so many more rappers then any other kind of musician. and eminem sounds just like all the others to me. just with a higher pitched urkel like voice.

backfire. thats total bullshit. classic doesnt sound great to non-classic fans. some people love metal, some hate it, and all its artists regardless of quality.. I like some UKgarage, the rest of my friends hate it. its like that with all genres

why do you keep comparing eminems talking with a repetitive beat in the back ground, to beautiful classical music?

because that sounds more acceptable then to say "some like pop, some hate pop"

rap is no less music than rock, classical, whatever. thats my firm belief and its true. simple as that. to suggest otherwise is laughable

pop is more of an acceptable comparison then classical, as both pop and rap are in the same basic category, simplist type of music to make. hence all the artits that are in those categories.
