I do not recall Thanos with the Infinity Gaunlet ever defeating a being as powerful as Anti-Monitor........wasn't Thanos just above Eternity which would not place him in Anti-Monitor from CoIE's league.......
Thanos has not shown the power to defeat Anti-Monitor in his CoIE levels.......Anti-Monitor was about to destroy all that exists.......he destroyed countless Universes and such.......he was about to completely destroy the Multiverse......
A Spectre powered up to such a point that he saw concepts and such that not even his Master could not dream off.......could not defeat Anti-Monitor.........
Thanos has not come close to defeating a being as powerful as Anti-Monitor........
Until someone proves/convinces me otherwise I say Anti-Monitor for the win.........

He was also defeated by much less than what it takes to defeat the ig. The ig was routing heroes in packs and that was even after Thanos gave them a chance and lowered his own power to make it interesting in an attempt to win death over.
Thanos could freeze him in time for an easy win.

Have you read CoIE just asking..........
Freeze him in time? Anti-Monitor destroyed a Universe and every single timeline in it........I have not seen Thanos do anything remotely close to defeating Anti-Monitor in his CoIE levels........
He was weakened and his single weak point was exploited to stop him and that was basically the only way to end CoIE event.........Anti-Monitor was unstoppable........
Thanos was powerful I am not doubting that and he has a very versatile power set with this weapon but more options do not equal a win in a fight.......
Also Anti-Monitor can basically do anything he wants with his power......

If Am was unstoppable they wouldnt have stopped him is my point. he was weakened by an amped Spectre and then further weakened by Seid,Luthor,etc. He didnt kill them and he didnt kill the Spectre either.

Just so you know the amped Spectre was powered by the most powerful sorcerers in existence including a 5D Being and was so powerful that he saw things that not even his master the Presence equal to TOAA could dream off........
He has not shown any resistance but I am assuming that if something so simple could stop someone so powerful than a lot of beings would have been able to stop Anti-Monitor long ago.......

Thanos retains the ig's power for this fight and wins.
I know the Am was very powerful but then again so was Thanos. Thanos also has mastery over time,space,reality,soul,mind, along with infinite power. He can defeat Am a myriad of different ways.
The Am cant beat Thanos no matter how you look at imho.
