To your particular faith. That doesn't, in fact, make it right. Just like if some other faith destroyed Christian or Islamic sacred objects based upon the belief that their exsistance was wrong.

The Talibans destroying of the Buddhas of Bamyan is an act just as terrible and wrong as if someone with misguided religious zeal destoyed the Kaaba or St. Peter's Basilica and then justified it as "worshipping in relation to these places is wrong, my religion justifies my actions."

One of the most benificial things for a religion is, I feel, realising that it doesn't have the monopoly on the truth. That no matter what outside of that faith there are people of other faiths who have things of great significance to them. As such no faith should be allowed to make such judgements on the objects of that religion, be it an idol or whatever.

If your faith says it is wrong to worship an Idol, then people in your faith don't worship idols. You don't then go around making sure people outside of that faith also don't worship idols.

One of the more accepted theories is that Mohammed convinced the Pagan Arabs to forget the other gods and only worship Allah, and convinced many Jews and Christians that he was a prophet of Abraham's god (their god) and was able to convert many people by simply doing that. It would be no different than if some Greek came along and convinced every other Greek that "There is no god but Zeus and I am his prophet" and told the Jews and Chrisitians that Zeus really was Abraham's god all along.

The original Allah had two daughters, but having "goddesses" would go against Muhammed's own idealogy, so it is thought that he purposely disregard Allah's daughters and wife.

Allah, like Zeus, was also one of the more revered Gods of the Arab Pagans.

There is absolutely no solid evidense that backs up the Existance of Allah/God. None. The Quran is a man-made book.

The Quran contradicts science and the theories of Evolution, and Creationism is highly unlikely seeing as how it has nothing to back it up.

It is reasonable to conclude that there is no God due to lack of evidense, but to CLAIM that God does exist, is a claim which is BOLD, unsupported, and must be backed up.

You are the one who must prove there is a God. I don't beleive, because there is not enough evidense to beleive. You are trying to claim God's existance as fact, therefore it is you who must back up your claim, not me.

The Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wasallum) was sent to show ppl the right path n to teach them to worship the 1 true God,Allah.If He(sallAllahu alaihi wasallum) would'v left them there worshipping idols,there would've been no point in sending the message.It was for their own good as they were ignorant n He (sallAllahu alaihi wasallum)brought them to light.

And this is where tha ability to put oneself in the place of another is important. It was still a matter of believing ones faith more superior/real then others and placing its rule upon them. There is little difference to what the Christians did to Pagans all over Western Europe or what.

The idols were placed in Kaaba which is the house of 1 GOd n was build by the Prophet who himself believed in 1 God.There were 360 idols there.It was necessary to remove those idols.N He(sallAllahu alaihi wasallum) didn't destroy them right away.It was during the conquest of Mecca,at 23 yrs after preachin the message of Allah.

Why not just move the idols out? After all, I am assuming they had been there for some time.

As if keeping those idols there wasn't enough,they used to do the Tawaaf(circle the Kaaba) NAKED!(men n women together!!!)n their prayers were nothing but clapping n whistlin.N that was their so-called 'culture'.Wanna see THAT,Kali?!

And it is a pet peeve of mine - one shouldn't dismiss a culture simply because by ones own standards it seems different. Far to much harm throughout history has been done by doing just that.

Since u ppl don't believe in 1 God,u wouldn't understand the dire need to remove those idols.
