It is not an abortion debate, it is an allocation of taxes debate, and you have failed to substantiate why some taxpayers should be forced to fund things they are opposed to while others are not.
actually people have to pay taxes{and im not referring to UNFAIR/illogical taxes} all the time that might be against their beliefs. for instance, the money that goes in the armed forces{actually again, im not referring to things like wars, just homeland security and whatnot which parts of which are there just for protection}.there are also examples of this in money being used to raise genetically enhanced crops as opposed to organic ones. or the running of advance physics departments etc.
many people would want nothing to do with the armed forces/homeland security/genetically enhanced crops or advanced physics. they are opposed to these for one personal belief or another. and yet if taxes are not used to keep these things going, the majority would not be fed/protected from crime/and physical sciences would fail to progress and find solutions for the challenges facing the new world. its NECESSARY for citizen's to pay taxes even if not BASICALLY FAIR{just like in all truthfullnes, only altruistic ANARCHY is true freedom and fairness in governing system, but seeing the outcome, governments are at some level, a necessary evil}. lets say we look at a mormon who cultivates on the land, feeds himself and uses teh resources of the land. yet wants NOTHING to do with the modern healthcare system, not for his children, not for his people and not for his wife or that he doesnt want roads built leading to CIVILISATION. just on THAT plea should he be exempted from paying taxes which are for the welfare of the public and his children simply based on his nonsensical beliefs? no.
i think the problem is that we keep abortion SEPERATE from public healthcare as its distasteful {im talking about teen pregnancy, early months, life saving etc. not things like partial birth abortion here} to the mindless mahjority of conservative americans. still it isnt a LUXURY PROCEDURE, its a healthcare issue. and should be treated as such and people should not be exempted from paying tax mponey used to deal with the issue{ill try and elaborate more on the dangers of society paying selective taxes later if i have time. it more serious than most people realise and already happens in many guises}
erm did i succeed in substantiating it now? 😕
