Sarcasm often fails on the internet.

Hate of fanboys often turns into hate of the character. Afterall, the character can be seen as the root of the fanboy and thus the root of your hate.

Well, I'm sorry it seemed like that was what I was implying. it wasn't.

Sarcasm does not fail on the internet, you can distinguish it with by telling them, font changing, or smilies.

Not really, you can hate the fanboy for his overexcessive and annoying love for the character, but you still can have love for the character. It all matters on the fanboy.

And guys, the consensus with KOTOR character matches is that if it's KOTOR character vs. some other game character, it goes here. But KOTOR character vs. KOTOR character goes in SW Vs.
That's stupid.

No it isn't. They're Star Wars characters first and foremost. That's how it's been for ages - Rex and I both discussed it and decided that would be the best way to do it.

Why? I fail to see why two pure Star Wars characters fighting wouldn't be put in the Star Wars fighting section.

Guess so.

Yes, it is. I read the rules, if that's the way you felt maybe you should have specified it. I only brought it here to discuss it with the people who don't frequent SW vs., the thread will be closed now because it already exists in SW vs.

And if the post lacks any of that as in Blax's?

That's true but certain anti-fanboys like GG can devolve into childish pestrers who use every chance to degrade a character.

I did actually just notice that I hadn't clarified it in the rules. But it makes perfect sense - they're both SW characters, so they should go in the other forum.

Well, it doesn't really matter since now my thread will be closed. They both originated in a videogame, there is no reason why not. It's not like it's a spite thread, a duplicate, or against the rules.

Everyone else seems to not have any problem with it, except for DarkC.

Ignore them. If it bothers you put them on ignore.

Ignore them. If it bothers you put them on ignore.

The Ignore List is counter-productive. You can't see what the person is saying and if they're belting out lies, you'll completely miss it.

it's better to confront people like that and tell them to STFU. Or report it to a mod.

Lana, how do you become a mod?

You've told me and others to STFU multiple times. has it helped? I haven't once stopped and thought "Hm.. I should listen to Nikk's advice, no offense. So no, it's counter productive to argue with someone over multiple threads. Ignoring someone is only counterproductive if you're such a busy body that you have know what everyone's saying about you all the time.

Sometimes arguing with someone is hard, like with Terry, I crushed his arguments, and when I did, he sometimes changed his opinions to help his "debate"(at first he thot FFVII characters had enough durability to survive the sun's heat, then he changed it to being gameplay mechanics), all while keeping an arrogant attitude like he was the one winning.

You've told me and others to STFU multiple times. has it helped?

I never told you to shut the **** up. I told you to not call me ignorant and childish.

And if you let people go around saying whatever the hell they want, even if it's totally inaccurate, you're basically conceding.

You are ignorant. You're ignorant because you call me a Gouki hater despite the fact that I've been defending him and other SF characters for years from fanboys. And you're not conceding, it's called being the better man. Walking away? Letting it slide, etc?

Lol I just made a "Would you Snort Cocaine with Hulk Hogan?" thread in the OTF.

I have nothing against a civil and reasonable debate. But from near the exact moment I became a regular in the Versus forum, I've been attacked for SF fanboyism which was undeserved in my opinion. GG and LF both lambasted me for opinions SHARED by many other members like SBP and V2D so it's not like I am this shin_remmy person. I was not agreeing with them and I was branded a fanboy and I felt quite pissed off about that.

And you're not conceding, it's called being the better man. Walking away? Letting it slide, etc?

Letting it slide is nothing more than opening the flood gates for millions of wrong opinions.

You had a right to be, but I don't think Blax called you one, did he?
