My brother just turned 15, and I'm sober.

Birthdays usually result in liver damage for me. I like to celebrate.

I'm not choosing sides, but I have to admit it's crazy how people would spend so much money on one gaming console. In fact, I remember some of the news reports about the stampedes that occurred on the first day the PS3 was available in stores, which was funny.

Anyway, although the free trial is about to end, I've been enjoying "City of Heroes" lately. It's boring at the beginning, but it gets better.

I told you its fun. I want it, but I have a crappy PC and no money.

Most people don't like the tutorials, but I hear they recommend you do it for every powerset anyway.

The main reason why I'm not getting it is because I refuse to play monthly fees just for a game.

It's always good to do the tutorials because most games will reward you with some items and whatnot.

Well, you don't have to get drunk just to celebrate birthdays.

Yeah, I don't like paying monthly fees either. For me it can get hard to come up with that money some times.

But most of the time I think its worth it if the game gets updated frequently. $15.00 a month, even for my beloved City of Heroes is a stretch.

Games that get updated frequently might be more enjoyable and less likely to have bugs and glitches, but I'd never pay $180 each year just to play it.

If I ever decided to pay that much, then the game would have to feature most/all of my favorite characters and would have to be perfect for me...

Yeah, I'd never play a game I'd have to pay a monthly fee for...not worth it. Especially with my attention span.

Ganondorf has his own trope named after him!

TVTropes is so ****ing addicting. I have like 6 tabs from it open right now.

Indeed, I have been reading it for like two hours.

I LOVE how one is named after MAH BOI Ganon!

You just found that out now? o_o There's another one named for him "Gannon Banned". Zelda named quite a few tropes.

TV Tropes is so win. Also, you only just now found that trope? ๐Ÿ˜ฌ How long have you been tropin'? ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

What really makes me laugh is the PS3 fanboys haven't come up with any new arguments in like two years.

Live Gold is optional, so no 360 user is required to pay a fee. If they choose to get Gold, then $50 a year is an incredibly good price for the quality of the service.

Exclusives is a bunk argument, because PS3 is still receiving lackluster third-party support, and none of the few exclusives they do have merit the frankly ludicrous price of the console.

A price that has obstinately remained high, despite the fact that the console has actually dropped features, which is still losing Sony money on their PS3s, as they simply aren't selling at all, due to the price.

It really is time to accept the facts, guys. The PS3 ain't doing great, and the 360 is.

Pretty much.

There's pretty much no point to buying one if you've already got a 360 because there's almost no exclusives worth playing.

Also, there is no such thing as a 'film edition' PS3, so saying that doesn't help any. The harddrive size on it and when you got it is infinitely more helpful.

Well theres games on PS3 I like. And I don't like XBoxes. Controls to big, just not comfortable.

Its 80GB.

Actually, having played Sony systems for a decade before getting a 360 - I find the 360 controller much more comfortable.

80GB, that's somewhat helpful. How long ago did you get it? How many USB ports does it have on it?
