Also here, college is the same as university, which I understand is not always the case in other countries. Also it tends to be a bit of a bigger deal in the US because of how freaking expensive it is. It costs a lot of money.

I've been done with high school for five years now. I haven't been able to afford college, really, and what I have done won't really transfer so I'm starting afresh.

Either the universities are not so great that they knew or perhaps colleges are not particularly large over there.

You mean that studying at your high school was as tough as in an American college or a university? Somehow I'm not surprised.

I think they meant size, although its hard to be sure. They just said it was like being at a American university/colledge. I never actually spoke to them personally, they just spoke in front of us as a school.

Could be size, could be the way attending classes are structured.

And colleges/universities in the US vary wildly in size. They can run from about 500 students to 40,000 students.

Nope, although I dont watch too much TV. Although the humour looks too predictable and its the sort of humour we get around my area quite often.

How is it predictable?

It made me cringe more than laugh.

Well you know, I could usually predict what a character was going to say or what kind of joke was going to come, for example the first guy I knew he was going to wonder why a cop is giving him coffee, I knew what sort of joke he was going to come out with.

The few clips of that show that I've seen are enough that I don't want to watch it.

Yeah, it's as "meh" as nearly everything else on TV nowadays.

Ghastly writing, stupid cheap attempts for laughs, horrible actors, and of course, the idea that if you sex things up, it'll be an instant hit.

It's all BS. I gave up watching TV a couple years ago, and have not regretted it.
