So tell me, when in your life did you began being a wiseguy?

That's a 'none, but I watch Naruto'.

I'm banking on "he's always been that way".

It's "begin," not began, and I was born a wiseguy, thank you very much.

So I guess that means you don't actually know any, then.

I'm curious. Who here considers which martial arts "westernized"?

My favorite anime is Legend of Zelda: Yaoi Edition

Tai Kwon Do is usually seen in a "westernised" form, in that it sucks. The original Korean form is apparently far more effective.

...you really can't be weirded out at him if you wrote it yourself. That just makes you look like a moron.

I learned TKD from a native South Korean man, so I was lucky enough to get something that was pretty close to the original thing. But the majority of TKD schools in America are run by, well, Americans, who are teaching a rather... castrated variation.

Did I ever tell you guys that I hate Naruto? I probably did, but I will say it again just in case.

While it's not strictly an Eastern art, I have some knowledge in Kajukenbo. Anyone else ever hear of it?

Muay Thai. Anything less is for pussies.

Or for people who don't feel like dying around 30. ๐Ÿ˜†

Eh, I don't know whether to put much stock in hybrid arts. I get the concept that picking bits from various arts should lead to a more effective overall form, but... it really doesn't. Half of every art is its own specific philosophy, and you kind of lose that in the hybrids.

No, you're doing it wrong.

A Narutard is a fan of Naruto.
